Types of homes

Roughly a third of the 10,000 new homes in the development will be sold on the open market. A further third will be sold as more affordable options; and the final third will be retained by Kāinga Ora and rented to their social home tenants.

Who we are

The project is being run by Kāinga Ora - Homes and Communities. We're leading the largest urban regeneration programme in New Zealand's history. We use our country's precious land well, deliver quality homes quickly and build communities with a sense of belonging.
