What’s happening in Wesley?

Wesley is a vibrant, multicultural neighbourhood that people are proud to call home. With a growing population, more homes are needed in Wesley.

The planned development in will bring a range of new, sustainable homes - offering people a modern, urban lifestyle in a neighbourhood where they can walk to nearby parks, local shopping hubs and eateries. The new homes will include social homes for Aucklanders who need housing assistance, homes to buy and homes to rent.

At the same time, we’ll be taking the opportunity to upgrade infrastructure to support the growing community. It’s a major transformation that will bring a fresh vibe to the neighbourhood.

The first stage involves the removal of existing Kāinga Ora homes that are no longer fit for purpose and replacing them an abundance of brand new, warm, dry, healthy homes. The Kāinga Ora Customer Liaison Team is working with customers affected by Stage 1 of the development to rehouse them.
