Vision for
Roskill South

Roskill South is part of the broader Roskill Development, led by Kāinga Ora. The project will deliver up to 920 brand-new homes, replacing around 260 older social homes. 

Housing mix: 

- Approximately 329 Kāinga Ora homes 

- The remainder split between market and affordable homes 

Homes will be architecturally designed with double glazing, excellent insulation, and light-filled spaces, all built to modern standards and reviewed for quality. The neighbourhood will include a mix of standalone houses, terraces, and apartments. 

Beyond housing, the development will upgrade essential infrastructure and amenities, ensuring public spaces and services are ready for the future. This revitalisation will make Roskill South a better place to live and support a strong, inclusive community.
